Kramer of New York was founded in 1943, in Manhattan, at the height of World War II. They began creating pieces for Christian Dior in the 1950s. Kramer was well known for its high standards using Austrian crystal glass and the finest dantelle rhinestones to create high quality, designer jewelry produced until 1980.
This highly collectible crescent shaped brooch features various shapes and sizes of faceted crystal glass and Danielle rhinestones discreetly prong set in sterling silver settings and secured with a rollover clasp. The bar of the clasp has a slight crinkle in it and the large rectangular stone is slightly loose, please view the photographs closely. This piece is signed ‘Kramer of New York.’ It would be gorgeous for any occasion but what an exquisite gift for the bride on her lucky day!
