These pieces are stunning, conversational, chic, and they’re made by one of the world’s most famous designers, and the iconic, storied French brand…Givenchy, making them highly collectible!
Count Hubert James Marcel Taffin de Givenchy was a French fashion designer who founded the house of Givenchy in 1952 and, sadly, passed in 2018. He was famous for having designed much of the professional/personal wardrobe of Audrey Hepburn and clothing for Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy. He was named to the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame in 1970. Givenchy is a fashion house that epitomises grace throughout the 20th century and you could see such nods to perennial glamour in the meticulously placed, minimal seam work, and open bateau neck of the newlywed, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s wedding dress. Givenchy is also well-known for their fabulous accessories, both vintage and new, and you’d be delighted if you were to add these lovely pieces of designer jewelry to your personal collection!
These earrings from Givenchy Paris are amazing and from the 1980s. They’re treasured pieces and instant heirlooms.
Note: One earring has micro abrasions on the backside of the pearl which vanishes completely when worn.
These pieces are signed Paris New York Givenchy, they measure 2.25″L x .5″W and weigh half an ounce each.
