Count Hubert James Marcel Taffin de Givenchy was a French fashion designer who founded the house of Givenchy in 1952. He was famous for having designed much of the personal and professional wardrobe of Audrey Hepburn and clothing for Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy. Givenchy is a fashion house that epitomises grace throughout the 20th century and you could see such nods to perennial glamour in the the meticulously placed, minimal seam work, and open bateau neck of Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle’s wedding dress. Givenchy is infamous for their timeless accessories, both vintage and new.
