Medical Professional Statement Brooch ~ Medical School Graduation Gift
In 1934, Victor Primavera Sr. founded the Danecraft Corporation in Providence, RI. In the 1940s Danecraft began manufacturing a large amount of silver jewelry and silver beads with varied exquisite designs often inspired by nature. In the 1980’s, the company continued to expand and diversify their jewelry designs and production by creating jewelry and silver beads in various classifications. Their costume jewelry of sterling silver and gold metal content was sold in better department stores throughout the USA and other vintage pieces, like this one, are now highly coveted.
This piece is absolutely spectacular with a bright, pave crystal adorned medical staff, mortar & pestle and two apothecary bottles sitting above a scrolled heart monitor printout with realistic medical charms dangling…brilliant interpretations of a blood pressure monitor, an x-Ray and a stethoscope.
Brooches make excellent stocking stuffers and are an excellent way to dress up more expensive packages this holiday season.
This piece is signed Danecraft, measures approx. 2”L x 2”W, has a beautiful matte gold tone finish (possibly brass) and a perfect, secure roll over clasp. This brooch is in excellent condition and comes with gift box and jewelry pouch.
