This incredible locket brooch is nearly 90 years old and is still in beautiful vintage condition. The instructions for adding photos with the use of a penny are completely intact and the locket is unused. It really dazzles with spectacular rainbow of colorful simulated gemstones; Pearl, Pink Tourmaline, Amethyst, Aquamarine and Green Aventurine…all beautiful, sparkling and shining. These gorgeous crystals are prong set in a mirror like, gold tone, etched setting on both the clip on mechanism and then repeated in a circular design on the locket itself. It has a very secure roll over clasp on the reverse side of the top piece of the brooch. The dangling ornamental locket holds four (penny size) photographs, making this an excellent gift for Mother’s Day! Load this beauty with family photographs for Mom or Grandma! This brooch is signed Coro Pat. Pending in two places on the reverse sides of the photograph frames. It measures 2″L x 1″W and is in great vintage condition. When open this piece measures 3″L x 2.5″W.

Coro company (also known as Gem-CRAFT) started in 1901 in the New York and became one of the most successful costume jewelry makers of the twentieth century. They also used many other names including Corocraft, Coro craft, Vendome and Jewelcraft. Up to 1955 they patented their designs, after they copyrighted them and some of their jewelry was signed and some not. There were factories in the US and also Sussex, UK. Vintage pieces like these from Coro are rare and exquisite.
